The entryway arched aquariums are a main feature in the rainforest-themed restaurant and retail outlet.
Since 1995, ICM has provided themed restaurant design services to Rainforest Café combination restaurant/retail facilities that offer a dynamic, stimulating and entertaining environment within a rain forest theme. Now owned by Landry's, Inc., the chain is still renowned for their remarkable exhibits, alive with equatorial wonderlands, cascading waterfalls, customized sound effects, huge mushroom canopies and animation.
They also seamlessly integrate awe-inspiring aquariums, designed and installed by the ICM team. Each Rainforest Café usually features a single walk-under arched aquarium located at the dining room entrance, as well as two "S" shaped acrylic aquariums in the dining area itself. Artificial coral inserts, resin ornaments and tropical fish adorn the interior of the aquariums, while artificial rock panels attached to the base and lid of the exterior create a true underwater experience that delights young and old alike – and helps make Rainforest Café a favorite of families around the globe.
