Two 75,000-liter aquariums with
60 species of marine life were imported from around the globe.
ICM created a "work of living art" that welcomes visitors to the Galerie Butovice in Prague. The mega mall, designed by Aukett Fitzroy Robinson features contemporary office space, a sports arena, supermarket and other shops, as well as restaurants, bars and cafes.
Visitors to the large multiuse destination are greeted by brightly colored fish and coral from around the world, housed in the Sea Aquaria, two 75,000-liter aquariums located at the top of the escalators. Made entirely of acrylic, the saltwater aquariums offer stunning uninterrupted views of sea coral from the United States and 60 species of marine life from the Caribbean, Indian and Pacific Oceans, as well as the Red Sea.
The aquariums were completely constructed in our Grand Junction facility and shipped en bloc in special containers that we integrated into the final installation. The silk-screen printed façade surrounding the commercial fish tanks creates an ultra-modern fascia that enhances the tanks and the ambience of their surroundings.
While the Sea Aquaria traveled far, it takes visitors to the Galerie even farther: to an undersea world spanning the globe.
