With the 2009 opening of City of Dreams, Macau, China will secure its place as the leading travel and leisure destination in Asia. An integrated urban entertainment resort like no other, City of Dreams is sure to become the world's "must-experience" destination, combining electrifying entertainment, an amazing array of accommodations, world-class dining and shopping, as well as a contemporary and spacious gaming experience.

At 39,000 square meters, the City of Dreams casino is truly one-of-a-kind – as is the ICM-designed and built water feature that graces it entrance. This all-acrylic sphere measuring 2.4 meters in diameter creates a continuous, cascading show of lights and water. Set inside a large granite reflecting pool, the sphere fills with water that eventually cascades from the top into the pool. All the while, 16 fiber optic lights powered by a 4,400 watt metal halide system choreographs a show of changing lights, made even more dramatic by the massive black granite-walled waterfall that is the sphere's back drop.

While the City of Dreams sphere is believed to be the first water feature of its kind anywhere in the world, its impressive size and elegance sets it apart from any future competition.
